Job Description:
Responsibilities:
·
Proficient in Ab Initio application
development skills as well as multiple design techniques.
·
Working proficiency in Ab Initio development
tool set to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
·
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks.
·
Strong understanding of techniques such as
Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud
Development, application resiliency and security.
·
Proficiency in one or more general purpose
programming languages.
·
Working proficiency in a portion of software
engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software
skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance
and improvement of software
Required Skills/Experience:
·
Position requires demonstrated experience
with: Ab Initio Graphical Development Environment (GDE), Business Rule Engine
(BRE), Enterprise Meta Environment (EME), Express, IT and Query, IT tools. Big Data Concepts.
·
Experienced with Data warehouse and Database
concepts.
·
Writing backend SQL queries; PL/SQL functions
and procedures in databases including Oracle, Sql server, and Teradata.
·
Writing UNIX shell scripts.
·
Control-M job scheduling;.
·
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and
Visio.
·
Software development methodologies and
SDLC,
·
Business analysis, design, development, and
implementation of various enhancement and decision support systems with focus
on Data Warehousing and Database Applications.
·
Driving design discussions and review with
leads and internal teams for approvals.
·
Providing the impact analysis due to outages
and communicating across the downstream or upstream functional areas.
·
Resolving high priority issues and supporting
the applications in production; and participating in the design of clean,
efficient, useful application interfaces from conceptualization to
implementation.
