Job Title: ETL/Core Java Developer

Duration: 6 Months to hire

Location: Columbus, OH

Job Description:                   

Responsibilities:

·         You will embrace leading-edge technologies and methodologies to drive innovation and early adoption of tools in the organization.
·         You’ll be able to harness massive amounts of brainpower through our global network of technologists from around the world.
·         Proficient in Core Java development skills as well as multiple design techniques
·         Working proficiency in Core Java development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
·         Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks.
·         Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security.
·         Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages.
·         Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of Software

Required Skills:

·         Must have experience in Big Data domain, data integration and data management tools. 
·         2+ years of experience with ETL Tools (Spark, Ab Initio) in an Enterprise Data Warehousing Environment
·         2+ years of experience on Big Data Platforms (HortonWorks or Cloudera)
·         5+ years of experience in Java
·         3+ years of hands on experience with Databases (Teradata, Oracle)
·         Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
·         Proven ability to define technical solutions, and ultimately lead high quality implementations
·         Experience with issue resolution processes for application production problems.
